Beyoncé Takes Full Ownership of SirDavis Whisky Brand
Singer Beyoncé is now the sole owner of her SirDavis whisky brand, having bought out LVMH's stake. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Singer Beyoncé has acquired full ownership of her SirDavis whisky brand, purchasing LVMH's stake in the venture. The financial details of the transaction have not been made public.
SirDavis was initially launched in 2024 in collaboration with LVMH's spirits division, Moët Hennessy. The brand honors Beyoncé's great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who distilled spirits during Prohibition in Texas. The whiskey continues to be blended and bottled in Houston, Beyoncé's hometown.
Beyoncé's move comes as celebrity-backed alcohol brands have become a significant market segment. Numerous celebrities have launched successful brands, with some leading to lucrative sales, such as George Clooney's Casamigos tequila and Ryan Reynolds' Aviation Gin, both acquired by Diageo. Beyoncé's decision to retain and consolidate ownership marks a divergence from the trend of selling these ventures.
The whiskey market is projected to reach approximately $85 billion by 2028. This development also occurs as Moët Hennessy shows signs of recovery, following shifts in consumer preferences for its portfolio of wine and spirit brands.
