BEYOND Awards 2023 has advanced to its re-selection phase, with 90 companies advancing to the final consideration from an initial pool of over 300 applications. The selected companies will compete across three categories: Healthcare, Sustainability, and ConsumerTech.
The multi-stage selection process, which began with nominations, also includes preliminary and final selection rounds, alongside media matching and an awards ceremony. The BEYOND Awards Committee, composed of representatives from BEYOND Expo's global partners and international investment institutions, oversees the criteria and selection mechanisms.
The first panel of judges has been announced, comprising technology and innovation authorities, industry experts, and senior media professionals. These judges are selected for their recognized achievements and will conduct in-depth research to ensure an impartial assessment of award applicants.
Notable individuals on the initial judging panel include Huang Zhimin, director at the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Platform, and Zhang Yu, a member of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. The awards aim to recognize and encourage innovation in the technology sector.
