BEYOND Expo Launches AI Video Creation Hackathon
BEYOND Expo has initiated a 10-hour hackathon on May 29, inviting participants to create videos using AI. The event focuses on pushing the boundaries of AI-generated video content.
BEYOND Expo has officially launched its BEYOND HACK DAY 2026 Video Creativity track, co-hosted with Spark year and Da’e Yuzhou. The competition invites creators, developers, and AI enthusiasts worldwide to explore the potential of AI-generated video.
The event features a 10-hour onsite AIGC hackathon scheduled for May 29. Participants will utilize cutting-edge AI tools, including TapNow AI image generation, Jimeng, and CapCut, to produce original video works. Each participant will receive 5,000 TapNow credits to support their creative process, with technical and infrastructural support provided by Spark year and Da’e Yuzhou.
The hackathon's schedule includes the release of rules and creative briefs at 9:00 AM, followed by an open creation period from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Judging and review will take place from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, concluding with a showcase and awards ceremony.
Submissions will be evaluated based on visual and artistic expression (40%), creativity and narrative (35%), and technical execution (25%). A professional panel from Da’e Yuzhou will serve as judges. BEYOND Expo aims to provide a platform for individuals at the intersection of technology and artistic expression.
