B&H Launches Virtual Production Category and Educational Hub
B&H Photo Video has established a new category for virtual production and extended reality (XR) products, along with an educational hub, targeting the cinema, broadcast, and education industries.
B&H Photo Video has officially launched a dedicated category for virtual production and extended reality (XR) products. The new offering aims to serve professionals in the cinema, broadcast, live events, and education sectors, providing a comprehensive range of equipment and resources.
The virtual production category includes a wide array of specialized products such as LED panels and cabinets, virtual production packages, VFX media servers, LED volume processors, camera and lens tracking systems, and associated lighting. It also features equipment for motion capture and reality capture scanning.
In addition to product offerings, B&H's in-house engineering team, The Studio at B&H, provides services for building virtual production projects. The company has also opened The Studio Technology Center (STC) within its retail space, functioning as a demonstration and learning environment for virtual production technologies.
B&H is partnering with various vendors to support the new category. Alongside the product selection, a new educational hub offers resources like how-to guides, case studies, and tips to help users understand and implement virtual production techniques.
