BiBBInstruments Receives Patent Intentions in Europe and Patent Grant in India

Cancer diagnostics company BiBBInstruments AB has received two Intentions to Grant from the European Patent Office (EPO) for its EndoDrill instruments. Additionally, the Indian Patent Office (IPO) has granted the company a second patent.
The European patents, expected to be granted following final formalities, will be valid until 2040 and 2041, respectively. The Indian patent is valid until 2041. These grants further strengthen the company's intellectual property protection for its technology.
EndoDrill is described by the company as the world's first market-cleared, powered biopsy instrument for endoscopy. BiBBInstruments has previously announced receiving patents in several markets, including the United States, China, and Japan, supporting its global expansion efforts.
The reinforcement of BiBBInstruments' patent portfolio in Europe and India marks a significant step in the company's strategy to secure its technological lead in cancer diagnostics and support its commercial development.
