Bigme Releases 25.3-Inch Color E Ink Monitor with 60FPS Capability
Bigme has launched the B251 Pro, a 25.3-inch color E Ink monitor featuring a refresh rate of up to 60 frames per second. This upgrade aims to provide smoother interaction for office work and content processing tasks.
Bigme, a brand specializing in E Ink smart devices, has introduced its latest 25.3-inch color E Ink monitor, the B251 Pro. This new model significantly enhances the user experience by reaching a maximum refresh rate of 60 frames per second (FPS), a substantial leap from its predecessor's 21 FPS. This improvement is designed to deliver smoother interaction on large-format color E Ink displays.
E Ink screens are recognized for their paper-like appearance, reduced blue light emission, and excellent visibility in bright light, making them advantageous for extended reading and work sessions. However, challenges such as slow refresh rates and ghosting have historically limited their dynamic use. The B251 Pro addresses these limitations by balancing clarity, color fidelity, and smooth motion.
The higher 60 FPS refresh rate enables more fluid scrolling, quicker document switching, and more responsive text input, moving the large E Ink display beyond static reading. The 3200 x 1800 resolution screen is intended for demanding tasks like programming, research, multi-window operations, and content processing.
To combat ghosting associated with faster refresh rates, the B251 Pro incorporates Bigme's xClear automatic ghosting reduction technology. It offers four distinct refresh modes—Web, Text, Image, and Video—tailored to different content types. The monitor also features adjustable front lighting, multiple connectivity options including HDMI and DisplayPort, and wireless casting capabilities.
