Bilibili Gathers China's Top Anime-Style Game Franchises at BML2026 Concert
Bilibili's annual ACGN concert, BML2026, brought together seven of China's major anime-style game franchises in Shanghai on July 12. The event simultaneously reached a peak online audience of 45 million viewers.

The Bilibili Macro Link-Play! 2026 (BML2026) concert concluded on July 12 in Shanghai, marking a historic achievement by uniting a significant lineup of China's premier anime-style game franchises on a single stage for the first time. Held at the Hong Arena, the event featured popular titles including Honkai: Star Rail, Azur Lane, Genshin Impact, and Wuthering Waves.
Originating from Bilibili's community culture, BML has evolved over 14 years into a prominent ACGN (Anime, Comics, Games, Novels) event in China. This year's introduction of BML-PLAY! specifically highlighted Chinese anime-style games, bringing together developers and publishers who traditionally maintain separate fan communities.
BML2026 generated substantial enthusiasm within gaming circles. Prior to ticket sales, over 110,000 fans pre-registered on Bilibili's platform, and tickets reportedly sold out immediately. The concert was concurrently live-streamed on Bilibili's official channel, attracting a peak audience of 45 million viewers.
The event's finale, "LINK START!", featured a symphonic suite that blended music from the seven participating games. Fans expressed positive reactions online, noting the seamless integration of tracks and the representation of multiple games on one platform. Bilibili suggests that such high-quality live productions serve as a key method for ACGN franchises to expand their reach and create value beyond their original content.
