MIAMI – BinBase, a provider of payment intelligence and card issuing data, has announced the release of specialized subscription and digital wallet attributes within its updated 2026 BIN Database. Engineered for SaaS platforms and recurring billing engines, the new dataset addresses silent transaction declines and involuntary churn in recurring revenue models.

The update includes specific data attributes for tokenized range identification for services like Apple Pay and Google Pay. When consumers use mobile wallets, payment gateways often encounter Tokenized Device Account Numbers (DPANs) instead of traditional primary account numbers (PANs). Without updated token-range BIN mapping, recurring billing engines may fail to recognize issuer capabilities, leading to unexpected declines during subscription renewals.

BinBase states the 2026 release also resolves recurring billing challenges through indicators for Direct Debit and Pull-Funds support, along with default ISO currency codes. These features are designed to help subscription platforms optimize automated bank collections and reduce friction during Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) for cross-border transactions.

The company asserts that the data precision provided by the 2026 update helps software engineers maximize subscription authorization rates and protect recurring revenue. The dataset comprises 29 fields, and BinBase offers a free sample dataset for evaluation on GitHub.
