BiomX Subsidiary Zorronet Expands European Presence Through Two Strategic Collaborations
BiomX's subsidiary, Zorronet, has entered into two strategic collaborations in Europe. These partnerships will expand its AI-powered detection, analysis, and response capabilities into agricultural security and critical transportation infrastructure protection.
BiomX Inc. (NYSE American: PHGE) announced that its subsidiary, Zorronet Ltd., is expanding its European footprint through two strategic collaborations. The first partnership is with Czech company Samura s.r.o., focusing on applying Zorronet's AI technology to pest management in agriculture and urban environments. This initiative aims to better detect and respond to pest activity while reducing chemical use and protecting non-target species.
Samura will contribute its expertise in smart pest control systems, while Zorronet will provide the AI software to analyze sensor and camera data. The goal is to develop intelligent monitoring solutions that identify pest issues, automate decision-making, and support faster, more effective responses across large areas. This collaboration seeks to promote improved pest management practices that are both efficient and sustainable.
The second collaboration targets the protection of critical transportation infrastructure using AI-powered monitoring and early warning technologies. Zorronet's software will analyze incoming data to identify potential hazards and enable rapid response. This tailored solution is designed to detect animals and unauthorized individuals before they enter dangerous zones, thereby reducing wildlife collisions and trespassing incidents.
The technology has previously demonstrated effectiveness in agricultural settings, identifying wildlife and unauthorized vehicles, and has also been applied to security events along Israel Railways' lines. BiomX CEO Michael Oster stated that these collaborations are a significant step in Zorronet's European growth strategy, showcasing the flexibility of its AI technology across diverse industries. Zorronet CEO Idan Wasserman added that the collaborations address the universal need to transform field data into actionable insights for timely decision-making.
