BIOSTAR launches EdgeComp MT-N150 industrial computer with NPU support
BIOSTAR has announced the EdgeComp MT-N150 industrial computer, powered by an Intel N150 processor and supporting independent NPUs for edge computing.

BIOSTAR has introduced the EdgeComp MT-N150, a new industrial computer designed for edge computing applications. The device utilizes an Intel N150 processor and is specifically targeted at scenarios such as intelligent security and smart city infrastructure.
The compact system measures 196.5 × 193 × 45 mm and operates within a wide DC power input range of 9–24V. It is rated for an operating temperature of 0–50°C. A key feature of the EdgeComp MT-N150 is its support for external Neural Processing Units (NPU) from vendors like DEEPX and MemryX, enabling enhanced AI and machine learning capabilities at the edge.
Internal expansion options include one DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM slot for memory. Storage can be configured via a M.2 slot supporting PCIe Gen3 x1 or SATA, and a SATA III 6Gbps port. The system also provides two additional M.2 slots designated for wireless network cards and cellular modem modules.
Connectivity includes three video outputs, two 1GbE RJ45 Ethernet ports, and multiple USB interfaces. The EdgeComp MT-N150 offers a versatile platform for demanding industrial and edge deployment scenarios.
