Biotech firm XGLU leases 3,000 sqm facility at CTPark Prague North
Czech biotech company XGLU is centralizing its product development and manufacturing operations into a new 3,000 sqm space as it prepares for mass production of its glucose monitor.
XGLU has secured 3,000 square meters of space at CTPark Prague North, near Prague. The facility will house the company's product development, manufacturing, and quality control departments as it shifts its focus toward large-scale production.
A key feature of the new site is a 250-square-meter ISO 7-compliant cleanroom, designed to ensure the environmental standards necessary for biosensor manufacturing. The facility will produce an integrated glucose monitoring device that consolidates test strips, batteries, and a display into a single unit, eliminating the need for separate meters or smartphone connectivity.
As XGLU moves toward full-scale operations, the company is concurrently pursuing the necessary regulatory certifications to market the device within the EU and developing markets. The site serves as the company's primary hub for scaling production capacity.
