Chinese GPU manufacturer Biren Technology has reported significant financial growth in the first half of its fiscal year. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, the company's revenue reached 1.236 billion yuan, marking a substantial increase of 1997.6% compared to the previous year. Gross profit also saw a significant rise, reaching 527 million yuan, up 2708.5%.
The company has substantially increased its investment in research and development. During the reporting period, R&D expenses amounted to 804.4 million yuan, a 40.7% increase year-over-year. Driven by high sales and gross profit growth, operating leverage has amplified, leading to a significantly narrowed net loss of 377.2 million yuan, a 76.4% reduction compared to the same period last year.
Commercialization efforts have expanded Biren's training and inference product sales, broadening its customer base and application coverage. Current clients include major internet companies, AI large model developers, national AI computing platforms, data centers, and telecommunications operators. The company also serves customers in AI solutions, manufacturing, energy, utilities, financial technology, and education sectors.
Biren Technology has made significant progress in key application scenarios, deploying solutions at scale for large language model inference, autonomous driving, and embodied AI. The company highlights achievements in multimodal applications such as text-to-image and text-to-video generation. For training scenarios, Biren has partnered with several large model companies, using its cluster solutions for pre-training and reinforcement learning of multimodal models, reporting comparable accuracy to international products with significantly faster training speeds.
