Bitcoin Holds $84,000 as Citi Lifts Price Target to $113,000

Bitcoin (BTC) is holding steady around the $84,876 mark, as analysts weigh its future prospects. Investment bank Citi on Tuesday increased its 12-month price target for Bitcoin to $113,000, up from its previous projection of $82,000. This adjustment follows a sustained inflow of capital into spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

The upward revision by Citi, reported earlier this month, coincided with hints from U.S. Federal Reserve speakers suggesting a potential pause in interest rate hikes. While Bitcoin's current price remains approximately 30% below its peak reached in October 2025, it has seen a 3% increase in value during October. Recent data indicates growing institutional interest, and Bitcoin has maintained a support level around $82,000 since late September.

Concurrently, in the cryptocurrency presale market, a meme coin named Pepeto has successfully raised over $11.1 million. The project claims to have developed a functional cross-chain bridge and swap tool prior to its fundraising efforts. This tool reportedly allows for rapid, fee-free token transfers across five networks, distinguishing it from conventional solutions that can incur higher costs and longer processing times.

Pepeto is reportedly led by a co-founder of the original Pepe coin, and its technology has undergone an audit by SolidProof. The company also indicated plans for listings on several exchanges, including Binance. Alongside Bitcoin's price movements, Pepeto aims to attract investors seeking potentially higher returns from early-stage projects.
