Bitdefender Receives Four AV-TEST Awards for Best Cybersecurity 2025

IT security testing firm AV-TEST Institute announced on March 12, 2026, that it has awarded cybersecurity company Bitdefender four awards in recognition of its products' performance in 2025 tests. The awards cover best protection for both consumer and business users across desktop and mobile platforms.

Bitdefender earned the Best Protection awards for consumer users (Bitdefender Total Security) and corporate users (Bitdefender Business Security) in Windows environments. Additionally, the company received accolades for Best Android Security and Best MacOS Security for consumer users.

AV-TEST annually recognizes top security products for consumers and businesses that consistently achieve top scores in comprehensive testing. The 2025 awards were presented across 11 categories, including Protection, Performance, and Usability for Windows, with separate awards for Mac and Android security.

The institute noted that earning an award requires products to meet stringent testing criteria for defense against malware, such as ransomware and infostealers. Bitdefender's success across all tested categories demonstrates its capability to provide comprehensive and reliable protection on various platforms.
