Bitget Expands Proof of Reserves to 19 Digital Assets

Victoria, Seychelles – Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has expanded its Proof of Reserves (PoR) system to include 19 key digital assets, a significant increase from its previous coverage of four. This upgrade aims to provide users with greater visibility into how their assets are accounted for on the platform.

The expanded coverage includes major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Tether (USDT), alongside new additions like Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and Dogecoin (DOGE). Through the upgraded PoR page, users can view the reserve ratio and the amount of user assets for each supported asset.

Bitget has been publishing monthly PoR reports since December 2022. As of August 2026, the platform had released 45 consecutive reports, with its latest indicating a total reserve ratio of 122%, exceeding the 1:1 reserve standard.

Utilizing Merkle Tree technology, users can independently verify whether their holdings were included in a specific Proof of Reserves snapshot. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen emphasized that users should have the ability to verify their assets themselves, rather than solely relying on the exchange's assurance.
