Bitget Hosts Blockchain Workshop at IIT Roorkee
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget partnered with BlockseBlock and IIT Roorkee to host a blockchain workshop for students and tech innovators.

Victoria, Seychelles – Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget collaborated with the BlockseBlock community and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee to host a workshop focused on blockchain technology. The event took place at one of India's prominent technology institutions.
The workshop provided an in-depth look at the core architecture of blockchain systems, including nodes, validators, and distributed consensus mechanisms. Discussions also covered blockchain's expanding influence on the creator economy, digital identity, and tokenized ownership.
Bitget's Chief Operating Officer, Vugar Usi Zade, highlighted the importance of education in advancing blockchain adoption. "Education serves as the bridge between Web2 expectations and Web3 possibilities," Zade stated. "We are proud to partner with institutions like IIT Roorkee to shape how the next generation learns, builds, and leads in this space."
This initiative is part of Bitget's broader Blockchain4Youth (B4Y) program, designed to equip young individuals with the skills and insights needed to thrive in the decentralized economy. Since its launch in 2023, B4Y has engaged thousands of students through campus tours, hackathons, and online courses.
