Bitget registers in Seychelles and plans 50% workforce growth

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has registered in Seychelles to facilitate its global expansion. The company operates in a decentralized manner with regional hubs in strategic markets and intends to establish further regional centers.

The registration in Seychelles falls under the 2016 International Business Companies Act. Alongside this, Bitget has established regional hubs in Asian and Latin American markets and plans to strengthen its global presence with additional hubs in Europe and Africa.

Bitget has updated its recruitment targets, aiming to reach a headcount of 1200 employees by the first quarter of 2023. This represents a 50% increase from its current size, intended to meet growing user demand and support business development.

Recent initiatives by Bitget include launching a $5 million Builders' Fund and increasing its Protection Fund to $300 million to safeguard user assets. The exchange is accelerating its hiring plans amidst these developments.
