Bitget Reports 131% Reserve Ratio in September Proof of Reserves Update

Victoria, Seychelles, September 30, 2026—Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has released its latest Proof of Reserves (PoR) report, based on a snapshot taken on September 29, 2026. The report indicates an overall reserve ratio of 131%, with user assets fully covered at a ratio exceeding 1:1.

This marks Bitget's 47th PoR update since the initiative was introduced in December 2022. The September update encompasses 19 crypto assets, with all listed assets demonstrating reserve ratios above the 100% threshold. Notable ratios include 181% for NEAR, 172% for XAUT, and 169% for USDGO. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) also reported strong reserve levels at 142% and 110%, respectively.

The update follows a security incident on September 24th and aims to provide users with an up-to-date view of the exchange's reserve status. Bitget is committed to regularly publishing its reserve ratios and wallet balances, which users can cryptographically verify using its Merkle Tree-based system.

"Proof of Reserves matters most when users want to see the numbers for themselves," said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. "The latest snapshot gives users a transparent view of Bitget’s reserves, with an overall reserve ratio of 131% and every covered asset above 100%. We have published this data consistently since 2022, and we will continue giving users the ability to independently verify their assets."

Bitget previously expanded its Proof of Reserves coverage earlier in September, increasing it from four cryptocurrencies to 19 major assets. This expansion offers users greater transparency and enables personal asset verification across a wider range of holdings.
