Bitget reports $1.86 trillion in trading volume for Q3 2026

Bitget reported a total trading volume of approximately $1.86 trillion across its six primary trading categories for the third quarter of 2026. Crypto derivatives volume grew by 31.5% during the period, while spot and CFD market volumes saw increases of 65.7% and 39.7%, respectively. Independent data from TokenInsight and CoinGecko noted improvements in the exchange's liquidity and order-book depth for major assets like BTC and ETH.

The exchange has focused on expanding its Universal Exchange (UEX) infrastructure, introducing a cross-asset unified account that supports over 370 assets, including tokenized U.S. equities. The company’s mobile wallet, Bitget Wallet, reached a milestone of 100 million users, reflecting a shift toward broader payment and decentralized financial services.

Following a security incident on September 24 involving hot and warm wallet infrastructure, the firm engaged independent investigators to initiate recovery and containment. Bitget stated that user balances remained unaffected. By the end of September, the company reported that its Protection Fund had been replenished to over $300 million and that its Proof of Reserves (PoR) remained above 110%.
