Bitmine Immersion Technologies has reported a substantial increase in its cryptocurrency holdings, announcing ownership of 5.9 million ETH (Ethereum) tokens. The company stated that its total assets in cryptocurrencies and liquidity have reached $15.6 billion.

The technology firm now possesses 4.9% of Ethereum's total supply, which amounts to approximately 120.7 million tokens. Bitmine claims to have achieved nearly 98% of its stated goal of 5% Ethereum ownership in just 15 months.

Ethereum has demonstrated strong performance, outperforming benchmarks like the S&P index for the third quarter of 2026 to date. This highlights the cryptocurrency's potential within the digital asset market.
