Bittium Appoints New Chief Sales Officer to Group Leadership Team
Markku Toiviainen (M.Sc. Eng.) has been appointed Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of Bittium Corporation’s Defence & Security business segment and a member of Bittium’s Group Leadership Team, effective November 1, 2026.
Bittium Corporation announced the appointment of Markku Toiviainen (M.Sc. Eng.) as the new Chief Sales Officer (CSO) for its Defence & Security business segment. Toiviainen will assume his new role on November 1, 2026, and will also join Bittium’s Group Leadership Team. He will report directly to CEO Petri Toljamo.
Toiviainen brings over 30 years of international experience in the high-tech industry, holding various sales and business leadership positions. This appointment is expected to strengthen Bittium's sales operations and international growth within the defense and security sector.
