Bittium Enhances Defence Communications Solutions
Finnish technology company Bittium Oyj has updated its product portfolio for defence communications, introducing new features and reinforcing security protocols.

Bittium Oyj, a Finnish technology firm, is strengthening its position in the defence and security communications market. The company focuses on providing modern products and solutions for tactical and secure communications, aiming to ensure resilient operations for military and government clients.
The company has released several updates and new products. These include the Bittium Tough Mobile™ 3 smartphone, offering enhanced security for mobile communications, and the Bittium TAC WIN Smart Link 360™ solution designed to improve tactical communication performance. Bittium has also collaborated with KNL to deliver seamless hybrid communication systems for defence applications.
Further developments include the Bittium SafeMove® Mobile VPN software being updated for quantum-safe capabilities. The Bittium Tough Mobile 2 C smartphone has achieved NATO approval, signifying its compliance with stringent security standards. Additionally, Bittium is supplying its Tactical Wireless IP Network™ systems and Bittium Tough SDR Vehicular™ radios to the Croatian Navy and Land Forces.
Addressing evolving market demands, Bittium is investing in areas such as post-quantum cryptography to safeguard sensitive data. The company's offerings aim to provide broadband data and voice capabilities to all deployed troops, alongside secure mobile devices and cybersecurity solutions certified up to CONFIDENTIAL and NATO Restricted levels.
