Bittium Oyj reports 37% net sales growth for Jan-June, record order backlog

Oulu – Bittium Oyj reported a significant increase in net sales for the first half of 2026, reaching EUR 57.9 million, a 37.2% rise year-on-year. Operating profit stood at EUR 9.6 million. The growth was primarily driven by increased product deliveries within the Defence & Security business segment.

The company's order backlog also reached a new record of EUR 102.2 million, with 92.2% of this backlog related to Defence & Security. This strong order book provides a solid foundation for future expansion. Bittium's financial position is robust, and the company continues to invest in enhancing its production and delivery capabilities to meet growing demand.

Bittium expects the second half of the year to be stronger than the first and remains confident in achieving its full-year guidance. The company's strategy focuses on accelerating international growth, capitalizing on increased defense spending, healthcare technology markets, and the growing adoption of AI.

Additionally, Bittium's Board of Directors decided to distribute an extraordinary dividend of EUR 0.15 per share. This decision was made given the absence of significant changes in the business environment during the first half and positive outlook for the remainder of the year.
