Bittium Reports Significant Growth in Third Quarter
Bittium Oyj's revenue increased by 64.9% in the third quarter of 2025, reaching 23.1 million euros. The growth was primarily driven by the Defense & Security segment, prompting the company to update its long-term financial targets.

Helsinki – Bittium Oyj announced a substantial increase in its financial performance for the third quarter of 2025. The company's revenue grew by 64.9% year-on-year to 23.1 million euros. The operating profit for the quarter stood at 2.5 million euros, representing 10.8% of revenue.
The Defense & Security business segment was the primary driver of this growth, reporting a 123.5% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year. For the January-September period, revenue rose by 25.7% to 65.3 million euros, with an operating profit of 4.0 million euros. Despite the strong performance in the defense market, the company's nine-month results were impacted by one-off costs in the Medical segment.
In light of the robust growth in the defense sector, Bittium updated its long-term financial targets in September. The company now aims for an average annual revenue growth of 20-30% and an operating profit margin of 10-20% in the long term, encompassing both organic and non-organic growth potential.
To support its growth strategy, Bittium has also acquired approximately a 25% stake in the Finnish artificial intelligence company MarshallAI (Kradient Intelligence Oy). This investment is expected to enhance Bittium's software and AI capabilities, particularly in defense and security technology. The company also expanded its international presence by opening a new office in London and continues to invest in operational scalability and global sales efforts.
