BKK Pfalz Expands Maternity Care with Digital and In-Person Services
Health insurer BKK Pfalz is enhancing its maternity support by integrating traditional in-person care with the digital keleya app, offering comprehensive services.

Health insurer BKK Pfalz has expanded its maternity care services by combining traditional, in-person support with digital solutions. The new offering includes a comprehensive free service package designed to assist expectant parents throughout their pregnancy.
The services cover prenatal preparation, postpartum care, and postnatal recovery. BKK Pfalz covers costs for services such as birth preparation classes, postnatal follow-ups, breastfeeding support, and pelvic floor exercises. Support is also extended to expectant fathers and co-mothers, with a subsidy of up to 70 euros for birth preparation courses.
Furthermore, BKK Pfalz contributes up to 250 euros towards on-call fees for midwives when a familiar midwife is secured in advance. A significant component of this enhanced support is the complimentary access to the keleya app for 12 months. This digital platform allows insured members to connect with experienced midwives daily from 7 AM to 10 PM, including weekends and public holidays.
The keleya app also provides access to online courses for birth preparation, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding preparation, along with weekly live sessions, fitness and yoga programs, a symptom tracker, and expert knowledge. BKK Pfalz aims to provide flexible and complete support to expectant parents through this integrated approach.
