Black Girl Sunscreen Founder Inducted into Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority's Honorary Class

Shontay Lundy, Founder and CEO of Black Girl Sunscreen, has been selected as a member of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority's 2026 TrailblazerΣ honorary class. The distinction honors 21 accomplished women for their impact on their respective industries, community service, sisterhood, and scholarship.

Lundy established Black Girl Sunscreen in 2016, aiming to provide sunscreen solutions suitable for individuals with darker skin tones, an area she identified as lacking in the market. The company has since grown significantly and become a recognized name in the beauty industry, known for its commitment to inclusivity.
