Blackbird Health opens pediatric mental health clinic in Sterling, Virginia
Blackbird Health has launched a new clinic in Sterling, Virginia, expanding its network of pediatric mental health services to support families in Loudoun County.

Blackbird Health has officially opened a new facility in Sterling, Virginia, marking an expansion of its behavioral health services for children, teens, and young adults. The clinic addresses conditions such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression through a coordinated care model.
The organization utilizes a hybrid approach, allowing families to start with virtual evaluations before transitioning to in-person support as needed. This model connects psychiatric providers, therapists, and executive function coaches to develop comprehensive treatment plans that consider school, home life, and physical health, rather than addressing symptoms in isolation.
"Our expansion into Sterling gives Loudoun County families another place to turn for answers," said CEO Tom Peterson. The Sterling site, located on Benedict Drive, is the company's fourth location in Northern Virginia. The firm intends to integrate with local school systems and pediatric offices to coordinate referrals and patient care.
