Asset manager BlackRock Inc. has notified Metso Oyj of a change in its shareholding, according to a statement released on Monday, July 23, 2026. BlackRock's direct holding in Metso shares now stands at 5.13 percent, equivalent to 42,583,327 shares.

In addition to its direct holdings, BlackRock also holds financial instruments that represent an additional 0.46 percent of Metso's shares. These instruments include American Depositary Receipts, securities lent, and Contracts for Difference (CFDs), totaling 3,857,472 shares.

Cumulatively, BlackRock's total position in Metso, encompassing both direct shares and financial instruments, amounts to 5.60 percent of the company's total shares and votes. This represents a total of 46,440,799 shares and voting rights out of Metso's 828,972,440 shares.

This marks a shift from a previous notification where BlackRock's total holding was also 5.60 percent, but the breakdown was different, with 4.95 percent held directly and 0.64 percent through financial instruments.
