Metso Corporation has received a notification from BlackRock, Inc. regarding a change in the company's shareholding. This notification was made pursuant to Chapter 9, Sections 5 and 6 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act.
As of August 20, 2026, BlackRock's direct holding in Metso shares amounted to 41,258,782 shares, representing 4.97 percent of the total shares and votes. Additionally, BlackRock held financial instruments related to Metso shares, corresponding to 5,112,253 shares, which accounts for 0.61 percent of the total.
As a result of these changes, BlackRock's total position in Metso shares now exceeds five percent of the total number of shares and votes. This crosses the threshold requiring disclosure under Finnish securities law. The total number of Metso shares and votes remains unchanged.
