Blade Runner 2099 Series to Stream on Amazon in November

Amazon Prime Video has announced the premiere date for its upcoming series, Blade Runner 2099, set for November 25th. All eight episodes of the show will be released at once on the streaming platform.

The series is helmed by Silka Luisa, who previously served as showrunner for Apple TV's "Shining Girls." Original "Blade Runner" director Ridley Scott is attached as an executive producer, suggesting a continuation of the franchise's established dystopian vision.

Starring Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer, the series aims to capture the signature mood of the "Blade Runner" universe. The first trailer highlights familiar elements, including a dark, futuristic Los Angeles cityscape, dramatic narration, and stylish attire.
