BloombergNEF (BNEF) has classified Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy (CNTE) as a Tier 1 energy storage manufacturer for the fourth quarter of 2026. The designation is based on an assessment of the company’s commercial project records, delivery capabilities, and independent market standing.
Established in 2019 with backing from CATL, CNTE specializes in utility-scale storage systems and integrated EV charging solutions. The company currently reports a production capacity of 12 GWh and has deployed over 10 GWh across more than 2,600 projects worldwide, with significant operational experience in the European market.
Tier 1 status is widely used by financiers and project developers as a benchmark for bankability and technical reliability. This classification underscores CNTE's ongoing efforts to scale its international operations as it aims to support the global transition toward renewable energy integration.
