Blue Lake Presents Data for RSV Vaccine Candidate
Blue Lake Biotechnology will present interim data from its Phase 1/2a pediatric clinical trial of RSV vaccine candidate BLB201 at the ISV Annual Congress.

Blue Lake Biotechnology will present interim data from the company's Phase 1/2a pediatric clinical trial of its RSV vaccine candidate, BLB201, at the International Society for Vaccines 2026 Annual Congress in Antwerp, Belgium, on October 12, 2026. The oral presentation will include updated safety and immunogenicity data from both RSV-seronegative and RSV-seropositive children aged eight to 59 months.
BLB201 is an intranasal RSV vaccine candidate utilizing a PIV5 vector to express the RSV-F protein. Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a highly contagious virus that infects over 64 million people worldwide annually. While often causing mild symptoms, it can lead to severe, potentially life-threatening disease in infants, older adults, and immunocompromised individuals.
The data to be presented will cover both RSV-seronegative and RSV-seropositive children. BLB201 has received Fast Track designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the prevention of RSV-associated acute respiratory disease in adults over 60 and pediatric populations.
Blue Lake Biotechnology is developing intranasal vaccines based on a proprietary PIV5 platform designed to activate the immune system against serious infectious diseases. The company is in the clinical stage with a pipeline of vaccines aimed at preventing respiratory infections.
