Space technology firm Blue Origin has announced plans to significantly upgrade its ground launch infrastructure in Florida. The company's objective is to achieve multiple weekly launches of its New Glenn rocket by the year 2030.

The expansion includes adding two new launch and landing pads for the heavy-lift New Glenn rocket. An expansion of its "Rocket Ranch" facility in Cape Canaveral, costing $330 million, is projected to be completed by the summer of 2027.

"These investments are focused on one goal: building the capability to support more missions with higher reliability and higher efficiency," stated Ian Richardson, Senior Vice President of Operations at Blue Origin. "The future infrastructure is designed to support multiple flights per week by 2030."

Blue Origin has invested over $3 billion to date in its Florida infrastructure, with operations spanning over 20 locations across Brevard and Orange counties, employing more than 5,000 people in the region.
