The system is designed to help organizations maintain communication during critical events.
The patent reflects Glidewell's over two decades of work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and emergency preparedness. BOOMBOX was conceived to ensure that organizations can communicate effectively when emergencies threaten normal operations. "Whether we're developing emergency communications technology or using AI to support a caregiver or healthcare operations, the question is the same: How can technology help people make better decisions when it matters most?" Glidewell said.
