Bluesky's Attie AI tool, initially launched this year to build custom feeds using artificial intelligence, has expanded its capabilities. Users can now create small social applications, including games, polls, and dashboards, which can then be shared with others as their own websites.

The process involves users typing a prompt to generate an app. Bluesky CEO Toni Schneider described Attie at TechCrunch Disrupt as "social vibe coding or vibe coding for your community," highlighting its use in creating community-specific tools. For instance, a simple poll about Pokémon Red and Blue took only a few minutes to generate.

These AI-generated applications are shareable via links and function as independent websites. This feature aims to simplify the creation of digital tools and foster social sharing within communities.

The expansion of Attie reflects a trend towards democratizing software creation, allowing individuals without extensive coding knowledge to build and distribute functional applications.
