BLUETTI and UN-Habitat Extend Joint Action to Nigeria

Clean energy provider BLUETTI and the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) have extended their joint initiative to Nigeria. The second phase of the collaboration, under BLUETTI's 'Lighting An African Family (LAAF)' program, is being implemented in Benue State, Nigeria.

The initiative aims to provide solar power solutions to areas lacking access to the electricity grid. This second joint effort follows a successful initial phase conducted in Kenya. BLUETTI is supplying solar generators and related energy products to support local communities.

UN-Habitat is coordinating the project's implementation, promoting the use of sustainable energy solutions in urban development. The collaboration intends to improve the quality of life and economic opportunities for Nigerian households affected by electricity shortages.

BLUETTI has previously supported similar projects across Africa, and this expansion into Nigeria reinforces the company's commitment to advancing clean energy access on the continent. The LAAF program is expected to continue and reach more families in the future.
