Board Event in Frankfurt Focuses on AI-Driven Planning
The Board company is hosting its annual event, Board Beyond 2026, in Frankfurt. The focus is on how AI is reshaping enterprise planning processes, featuring insights from experts and clients.

Frankfurt, Germany – Corporate planning is undergoing a fundamental shift as artificial intelligence (AI) evolves from an analytical tool into an active component of decision-making. This is the central theme of the Board Beyond 2026 event, taking place May 11-12 in Frankfurt. The conference will explore how AI agents are reshaping planning, the role of external data, and automated decision logic.
The event gathers users, analysts, and experts from finance, supply chain, HR, and IT to discuss developments in integrated enterprise planning. The focus is on the transition from retrospective reporting to a continuous, forward-looking management approach.
The evening before the main event is dedicated to networking. Transformation expert Reza Razavi will demonstrate how organizations can safeguard their core business while driving change, followed by the Board Customer Awards.
The second day will feature a presentation by Board CEO Jeff Casale and Chief Economist Michelle Green on how planning evolves towards "agentic planning" through AI agents, and how external data can enhance decision confidence. Client case studies will include BASF Agricultural Solutions discussing a new incentive management system for increased transparency, and TEDi sharing their rapid implementation of an integrated financial planning solution.
A panel discussion with Board representatives and partners will address the practical requirements for planning to become actively supportive and adaptive. Dr. Christian Fuchs from BARC will offer an analytical perspective on the limitations of traditional annual planning in volatile environments and companies' current AI adoption.
