Board introduces Board 15 with domain-specific AI agents
Board has launched Board 15, an updated planning platform featuring new AI agents for financial operations and a refreshed user interface.

Board has released Board 15, an update to its enterprise planning platform that incorporates agentic AI tools designed for financial and operational planning. The release introduces dedicated agents for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and financial controlling, which aim to automate tasks such as variance validation, statement modeling, and intercompany matching.
The update includes a new interface, Flex Grid, intended to mimic Excel functionality to improve user adoption and reduce training requirements. By embedding these AI agents directly into the company’s multidimensional data structure, the platform attempts to bridge the gap between traditional manual reporting and autonomous, data-driven forecasting.
Industry observers note that while organizations are increasingly moving away from manual spreadsheets, the success of such AI implementations often depends on integration depth and cost-efficiency. Board stated that it intends to extend its agentic capabilities to supply chain and merchandising modules in future updates.
