Software company Board has launched new artificial intelligence (AI) driven solutions aimed at streamlining corporate planning and accelerating decision-making processes.
The new tools, including the Board Merchandiser Agent and Board Supply Chain Agent, are designed to identify risks and optimize planning in real-time. The Merchandiser Agent assists retail teams in better forecasting demand and managing inventory to protect margins. The Supply Chain Agent connects various aspects of the supply chain, such as demand, supply, and finance, to improve responsiveness to changes.
The company also emphasizes the importance of governance models for AI. This month's newsletter from Board references BARC studies exploring the value of agentic AI in corporate planning and how to build data governance models for scalable AI.
Board is also participating in industry events, including Structured FINANCE 2026 in Stuttgart and Retail Unlocked. These events will showcase practical applications of modern planning, forecasting, and reporting tools.
