Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation Grants $1 Million to Circle the City

The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation has awarded Circle the City a $1 million grant to support the completion of its new East Valley Medical Respite Center. This significant funding is poised to nearly double the organization's capacity to provide medical care for individuals experiencing homelessness in Arizona's East Valley.

The donation will aid in finalizing the project, which aims to substantially improve healthcare access for the homeless population in the region. Circle the City offers low-barrier healthcare, assistance, and support to homeless individuals, facilitating their transition from hospital stays to recovery and the pursuit of more permanent housing solutions.

The new facility is designed to address the growing need for safe and supervised care for individuals who are too ill to be discharged from a hospital but do not require acute inpatient services. With this support, Circle the City can expand its services and accommodate a greater number of individuals simultaneously.

The grant is critical for the center's opening and for achieving full operational capacity. Circle the City has been serving the Phoenix area since 2012, and this expansion addresses the rising homelessness and associated health challenges within the region.
