German trailer manufacturer Böckmann Fahrzeugwerke GmbH has introduced a new tarp lift system engineered to enhance air quality within its trailers. This development focuses on improving ventilation while preventing moisture ingress.
The new system features integrated forced ventilation in the upper section. A coarse mesh in the lower area effectively blocks flies from entering the trailer, ensuring a consistent supply of fresh air. This feature is particularly aimed at improving conditions for transported animals.
The design also incorporates optimized water drainage. The tarp is welded at an angle, facilitating easy runoff of water to the sides when the tarp is rolled up. This ensures the trailer interior remains dry.
Several Böckmann trailer models, including the Grand Master, Neo, and Neo L, will be equipped with the new tarp lift as standard.
