Böckmann Fahrzeugwerke introduces Portax K horse trailer with front unloading
German horse trailer manufacturer Böckmann Fahrzeugwerke GmbH has released the Portax K model, featuring a front unloading option for horses.

Böckmann Fahrzeugwerke GmbH, a leading manufacturer of horse trailers, has introduced the Portax K model, which offers a practical front unloading capability. While front unloading has been particularly popular in markets like Great Britain and France, the company notes a growing interest among German riders, breeders, and trainers.
The primary advantage of the front unloading feature is that it allows horses to exit the trailer forward, which can be beneficial for younger or more anxious animals. This method aims to provide a calmer and more controlled unloading process compared to traditional rear unloading.
Constructed with an all-aluminium floor and walls, the Portax K is built on Böckmann's low-profile WCFplus chassis, designed to offer superior driving comfort and stability. It also includes the company's Multi Safe System (MSS), which allows for easy adjustment and rapid release of the safety bars in emergency situations.
Available in two sizes, the Portax K is designed for versatility and ample space, catering to the needs of both horses and their handlers. This release underscores Böckmann's continued focus on safety and user convenience in its trailer designs.
