BOE Attends UNESCO Conference on Science for Sustainable Development
Chinese technology firm BOE participated in UNESCO's global conference on the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development, showcasing its technologies for sustainable development.

Chinese technology company BOE attended the 2026 Global Conference of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD), held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris from July 15-17, 2026. As the first Chinese technology partner for IDSSD, BOE provided technical support for the conference and participated in high-level roundtables.
BOE also organized the "Open Next Earth" technology-themed exhibition, which showcased the company's solutions for advancing sustainable development. The exhibition featured advanced display technologies, including 8K restoration for presenting historical art and foldable solar panels demonstrating the integration of green technology into everyday scenarios.
During the conference, BOE emphasized the role of science in addressing future challenges. The company aims to transition from project delivery to capacity building, from technology provision to ecosystem development, and from one-off investment to long-term commitment. The goal is to bridge geographical divides through STEM education and create equitable innovation opportunities for youth worldwide.
BOE also shared practical experiences on scaling STEM education and the long-term engagement of the tech industry in the field. Furthermore, the company attended the awards ceremony for the African Edition of the Science Club Challenge 2026, presenting the gold award. This participation reinforces BOE's efforts to integrate into global science governance and contribute to sustainable development through display technology and digital innovation.
