Bold Security named to 2027 Fortune Cyber 60 list
Cybersecurity startup Bold Security has been included in the 2027 Fortune Cyber 60, a list of the most significant venture-backed security companies.

Bold Security, a firm specializing in endpoint data loss prevention (DLP), has been featured on the 2027 Fortune Cyber 60 list. The annual selection highlights 60 prominent, venture-backed cybersecurity startups that have not yet undergone a public listing or acquisition.
Founded in 2024, the company focuses on deploying artificial intelligence directly onto devices to classify sensitive information based on intent and context. This approach attempts to replace legacy DLP systems, which rely on rigid pattern matching and cloud-based traffic monitoring, by enabling real-time detection and blocking on the local device.
"The industry has long viewed DLP as a necessary evil, but AI has rendered that assumption obsolete," said CEO Nati Hazut. The company, which raised $40 million from investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, currently serves clients such as Shutterfly and HiBob.
The Fortune Cyber 60, curated in partnership with Lightspeed Venture Partners, evaluates companies based on annual recurring revenue, year-over-year growth, and other operational performance metrics.
