Bombardier Adjusts Leadership Structure to Support Growth Strategy

Bombardier Inc. has restructured its leadership team as part of a strategy to accelerate growth and enhance operational focus. The changes aim to leverage the company's current momentum and strengthen its position in key business areas.

President and CEO Éric Martel stated that the reshuffling is intended to ensure the company's solid foundation supports future growth. "As we continue to meet or exceed targets, it is the right time to thoughtfully reshape key leadership functions to ensure the solid foundation we have set fully carries our momentum well into the future," Martel said.

Key appointments include Jean-Christophe Gallagher as Executive Vice President, Aircraft Sales and Bombardier Defense. Paul Sislian will lead Aftermarket Services & Strategy. David Murray takes on expanded responsibility for Manufacturing, IT, and Operational Excellence. Eric Filion joins in the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Programs and Supply Chain.

Michel Ouellette will continue to lead Engineering and Product Development until his retirement in late June 2023, following a 33-year career with Bombardier. Martel expressed gratitude for Ouellette's contributions.
