Bombardier and Elie Saab Introduce Bespoke Cabin Design for Global 8000 Jet
Bombardier has partnered with fashion house Elie Saab to create a custom cabin interior for its Global 8000 business jet, infusing the aircraft with haute couture-inspired luxury and design.

Bombardier announced on Monday a new collaborative cabin design for its Global 8000 business jet, developed in partnership with the fashion house Elie Saab. The project aims to integrate the haute couture aesthetic of the Elie Saab brand into the aircraft's interior, redefining the onboard experience.
The collaboration merges Bombardier's aviation engineering with Elie Saab's design expertise, intending to create a refined living space at altitude. This bespoke cabin concept, described as a convergence of precision, comfort, and timeless elegance, will be offered as an option to Global 8000 customers.
Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier, stated that the project allowed for a rethinking of the cabin as a living space, particularly as the aircraft was already well into its certification process. He highlighted that the initiative pushes the boundaries of business aviation and reflects the company's focus on elevating the customer experience.
Elie Saab Jr., CEO of ELIE SAAB, commented on approaching the project with a "haute couture mindset," elevating materials and details to express luxury and precision. He added that the collaboration extends the ELIE SAAB universe into new dimensions of lifestyle and design, allowing the brand to accompany clients on their journeys.
The cabin interior is designed to be spacious and harmonious, featuring a warm color palette and premium materials. Bombardier's engineering teams worked closely with Elie Saab to ensure the design meets rigorous aviation safety and performance standards. The concept was unveiled in Monaco during the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
