Bombardier delivers 1,000th super-midsize business jet

Bombardier Inc. has reached a significant milestone with the delivery of its 1,000th super-midsize business jet. The aircraft, a Challenger 3500 model, was handed over to long-time customer JM Family Enterprises during a ceremony at Bombardier's Challenger delivery center in Montreal.

The delivery underscores the success and enduring market presence of Bombardier's super-midsize aircraft line, including the Challenger series. CEO Éric Martel highlighted the dedication of employees and the loyalty of its global customer base, stating that the Challenger jets have redefined the business jet segment.

The Challenger 3500 is described as a sought-after aircraft in its category, offering low operating costs and an advanced cabin. It incorporates features from Bombardier's long-range Global 7500 jet. The company also noted the environmental product declarations for its aircraft and its use of sustainable aviation fuel.

Bombardier manufactures its aircraft in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The company supports a global fleet of approximately 5,100 aircraft and operates ten service facilities across six countries.
