Bombardier Inc. has delivered its 200th Challenger 3500 business jet to Piero Ferrari, Vice Chairman of Ferrari S.p.A. The delivery represents a significant milestone for the company, achieved less than four years after the aircraft's entry into service.
The Challenger 3500 has become the segment leader in super-midsize business jets for Bombardier, surpassing other models in its category in deliveries during its first full year of service in 2023. The aircraft will support Mr. Ferrari's travel to Formula One races and other business engagements.
Bombardier states that the Challenger 3500 combines performance, efficiency, and a refined cabin experience. The aircraft is reported to offer the lowest direct operating costs in its class, impressive versatility, and an advanced cabin, including the industry's first voice-controlled cabin feature in its segment.
The company has previously announced that all its production aircraft carry an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), reinforcing its position as the only business jet manufacturer with published EPDs across its entire portfolio.
