Bombardier Delivers First Global 8000 Aircraft in Africa
Bombardier has delivered its first Global 8000 business jet in Africa to Nigeria-based BUA Group. The aircraft will support the company's long-range travel requirements.

Bombardier has delivered its first Global 8000 business jet in Africa to BUA Group, a Nigerian multinational company with interests in cement, food, oil and gas, and real estate.
The delivery marks a significant milestone for Bombardier's flagship Global aircraft family. The aircraft is designed to support BUA Group's long-range travel needs, enabling seamless non-stop connections from Lagos to key global business destinations, including Los Angeles, Perth, and Tokyo.
"The Global 8000 offers the range, speed, comfort, and reliability required to support our international business activities," said Abdul Samad Rabiu, Founder and Chairman of BUA Group. He highlighted the advantage of reaching more destinations non-stop.
Bombardier President and CEO Éric Martel described the delivery as a proud moment and significant milestone for both organizations. The Global 8000, featuring a top speed of Mach 0.95 and a range of 8,000 nautical miles, is positioned as a leader in business aviation performance and comfort.
