Bombardier delivers first Global 8000 aircraft to Vista

Bombardier Inc. has completed the delivery of its first Global 8000 business jet to Vista, a significant operator in the business aviation sector. The handover ceremony occurred at Bombardier's London Biggin Hill Service Centre.

Vista is set to integrate the aircraft into its operations, marking the beginning of an upgrade of its existing Global 7500 fleet. The company plans to convert two aircraft per month, aiming to have its entire fleet of 18 Global 7500s operational as Global 8000 jets by the end of the year. This move will establish Vista's fleet as the largest subscription-based offering of this particular jet model.

The Global 8000 is noted for its speed, reaching a top speed of Mach 0.95, and a range of 8,000 nautical miles. It also features the lowest cabin altitude in production for business aircraft, cited at 2,691 feet, intended to enhance passenger comfort during long journeys.

Bombardier President and CEO Eric Martel stated the Global 8000 offers "unmatched speed, exceptional comfort and industry-leading field performance." Vista's Founder and Chairman Thomas Flohr added that the extended range and speed will provide practical benefits for their members, allowing for more efficient travel.

This delivery follows Vista's firm order placed on February 11, 2026, for 40 Challenger 3500 business aircraft, with options for an additional 120. The event underscores the ongoing business relationship between Bombardier and Vista in the corporate aviation market.
